PROJECT 02
SUDO
A rethink of ads and the point of purchase in the age of agents
Sudo reimagines advertising and commerce in an era where AI agents increasingly mediate our digital experiences. The project explores how the traditional advertising model transforms when autonomous agents make purchasing decisions on behalf of users.
By creating a new framework for agent-based advertising, Sudo aims to establish more transparent, efficient, and user-aligned commercial interactions. The system allows for preference-based filtering while maintaining privacy and reducing the cognitive load of decision-making.

KEY CONCEPTS
Agent-Mediated Commerce
Exploring how AI agents can serve as intermediaries between consumers and advertisers, filtering content based on genuine user preferences rather than attention-grabbing metrics.
Preference Architecture
Developing systems that allow users to express complex preferences that agents can interpret and apply when making purchasing decisions or recommendations.
Privacy-Preserving Advertising
Creating advertising mechanisms that respect user privacy while still enabling relevant product discovery, potentially using zero-knowledge proofs to verify preference matching without revealing user data.
RESEARCH AREAS
Agent Preference Alignment
Investigating methods to ensure AI agents accurately represent user preferences when making commercial decisions, avoiding misalignment or manipulation.
Economic Models
Developing new economic frameworks for advertising that function effectively in an agent-mediated ecosystem, potentially shifting from attention-based to utility-based models.
User Interface Design
Creating intuitive interfaces for users to communicate preferences to their agents and review agent-made decisions with appropriate levels of oversight.
PROJECT STATUS
Sudo is currently in the research and prototyping phase. We are developing theoretical frameworks and small-scale demonstrations to test key concepts before moving toward a more comprehensive implementation.
Prototype
Early-stage prototype demonstrating preference-based filtering in a simulated agent environment.
Research Paper
Upcoming publication on the theoretical foundations of agent-mediated advertising models.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Visual Identity
Sudo's visual language balances the warmth of human preference with the precision of algorithmic systems. The contrast between organic textures and clean typography reflects the project's aim to humanize digital commerce while maintaining technical rigor.
Interaction Principles
The project's interfaces are designed to make complex preference systems accessible and intuitive. We emphasize transparency in how agents interpret and act on user preferences, with clear feedback loops that build trust in automated decision-making.
